Electronic Music Aarhus is a brand new initiative, whose very first event will be launched at SPOT.

Over the last years, Aarhus has become a rallying ground for large parts of the Danish electronic scene. The musicians have made Aarhus their base, and this has created an innovative, fertile milieu for the artists, which coincides with an increased focus on and distribution of electronic music.

It’s Electronic Music Aarhus’s ambition to present the cream of the town’s electronic artists and their work at showcases, where all genres are let loose. The first burst takes place at SPOT at the Filur Stage.

Electronic Music Aarhus was established by the Municipality of Aarhus, The Royal Academy of Music – Aarhus, and Diem (The Danish institute of Electronic Music) 

The acts are: Wäldchengarten, Karsten Pflum, Heidi Mortenson, Jonas Olesen, Morten Riis, Puzzleweasel, Vectral, Jonas R, Voks. (se enkeltpræsentation i bandlisten / see the individual presentations in the band list)
